The Perfect Gift

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. —James 1:17 (NKJV)

As many begin the search for the perfect gift, here is a little reminder:
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, and the most perfect gift the Father has given to us is His only Son. Jesus Christ is the Eternal One and He is our constant companion, when we open our hearts and let Him in. It’s all about Him, every day, not just this season. He is the gift that never grows old, fades or breaks.

The most precious gift we can give another person is the gift of Jesus. We can touch others with His unconditional love and kindness. We can wrap them in the blanket of forgiveness. We can share His peace and joy with everyone that comes our way. We can offer a helping hand and a heart full of compassion. So, my very dear friends, don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. (James 1:16 MSG) Not off the shelves of the retail stores.

Be Captivated by Christ
