Elevate Your Thoughts

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. —Colossians 3:2 (NKJV)

Let us elevate our thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. (Colossians 3:2 MSG)

Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].  —Philippians 4:8 (AMP)

Be Captivated by Christ
