Be Filled with His Light

The lives of good people are brightly lit streets; the lives of the wicked are dark alleys. —Proverbs 13:9 (MSG)

Jesus says: “Come!” Those in dark alleys and on dead-end roads, come to Jesus, the light of the world. In John 18:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” He will show you the path of life. He came that you may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10b AMP).

As followers of Christ, we are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14) May we let the light of His love and grace within us, shine brighter and brighter, and light up the darkness that is around us.

The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. —Proverbs 13:9 (NLT)
