Plug into His Presence

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” —John 15:4-5 (NKJV)

In the Amplified Bible Jesus says “…apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) Our union with Him is vital. In order to live the abundant and fruitful life He intended for us, we have to abide in Him.

Your cell phone or any electronic device is useless, unless it has been plugged into an electric source and charged. And a believer who is disconnected from their Source is unable to perform and function as we were created to. Let us stay connected to Jesus, the Source of our life. As we remain engaged with Him, we have everlasting peace that is not moved by earthly circumstances. When we are plugged into His Presence we experience fullness of joy, that the world cannot take away. Plugged into His Presence we have all we need to survive, and thrive!
