A Very Present Help

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. —Psalm 46:1-2 (NLT)

Our mighty God is a very present and well-proved help in trouble. So do not be anxious or afraid. Rejoice in hope because of our confidence in Christ. Be patient in trouble, and devoted to prayer, continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength. (See Romans 12:12)

Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! —Romans 15:13 (TPT)
