Be Cheerful

Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! —Philippians 4:4 (TPT)

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT) However, let us be full of joy in every season. The joy of the Lord is your strength. When we rejoice in the Lord, our joy is not based on external circumstances, but on an eternal God, Who never changes. Rejoice in His goodness and faithfulness. Be glad and rejoice in His unfailing love, for He has seen your troubles, and He cares about the anguish of your soul. He has not handed you over to your enemies but has set you in a safe place. (See Psalm 31:7-8 NLT)

So then, my soul, why would you be depressed? Why would you sink into despair? Just keep hoping and waiting on God, your Savior. For no matter what, I will still sing with praise, for you are my saving grace! —Psalm 42:5 (TPT)
