Cling to Him

Many are saying, “Oh, that we might see some good!” Lift up the light of Your face upon us, O LORD. You have put joy in my heart, more than [others know]… In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety and confident trust. —Psalm 4:6-8 (AMP)

In the midst of troubling times, children of God can dwell in peace and safety as we confidently trust in Him. Because He is our Helper, we can sing for joy in the shadow of His wings. Cling to Yahweh. His strong right hand supports you.

For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings [where I am always protected] I sing for joy. My soul [my life, my very self] clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. —Psalm 63:7-8 (AMP)
