His Presence

Then Moses said, “If you don’t personally go with us, don’t make us leave this place. How will anyone know that you look favorably on me—on me and on your people—if you don’t go with us? For your presence among us sets your people and me apart from all other people on the earth.” —Exodus 33:15-16 (NLT)

Today, the LORD has promised to never leave or forsake His people. We are a chosen people, royal priests, and a holy nation for God’s very own possession. (See 1 Peter 2:9 NLT) His Presence dwelling inside of those who believe, is to distinguish us from all other people. So don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (See Romans 12:2 NLT)
