“Come to Me”

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.” —John 7:37 (NASB)

Jesus invites us to come to Him. In Matthew 11:28, He says: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” There are no conditions in our coming. He just wants us to come. And coming to Him is not just a one time event. Let us come to Him every day and each moment of the day. In John 6:37, Jesus says, “…the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.” You are invited and accepted.

Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, according to the faithful mercies shown to David.” —Isaiah 55:3 (NASB)
