He Makes a Way

Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, “Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” —Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 (NASB1995)

YAHWEH knows how to rescue His people. He brought the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt, by opening the waters and making a dry path through the sea. He drowned all of their enemies. (See Isaiah 43:17) God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him. (See 2 Peter 2:7 NLT) So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. (2 Peter 2:9 NLT) Whatever you are going through today, know that the day of your deliverance is already written in His book. Be confident that YAHWEH is with you and He will make a way for all that concerns you.
