Be Thankful

in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. —1 Thessalonians 5:18 (AMP)

In the midst of every situation and circumstance, always be thankful. We can choose to be thankful, even though we may be hard-pressed on every side by troubles, yet we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but we are not driven to despair. (See 2 Corinthians 4:8) Christ in us, is the hope of glory. (See Colossians 1:27) Yahweh is faithful to deliver us from all of our troubles. In Christ, we have been given victory over this world, sin and death. Have a thankful heart because our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! (See 2 Corinthians 4:17) Be grateful that His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness... (See 1 Peter 1:3) Do not cease to give thanks to Yahweh, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57) 

Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. —Hebrews 12:28 (NLT)

Be Captivated by Christ
