Do Good

Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. —Psalm 37:3 (AMP)

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21) What is good? It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalm 92:1)  Micah 6:8 (NLT) says: …the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. The Amplified Bible adds: …setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness. Psalm 34:14 (NKJV) instructs us to depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.

Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [be a blessing] to those of the household of faith (born-again believers). (Galatians 6:9-10 AMP)

Be Captivated by Christ
