Light into the World

“I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness.” —John 12:46 (AMP)

The LORD is our light and our salvation. Have no fear. (See Psalm 27:1) Rely on and have confidence in the truth of God's Word. In Luke 2:32 (NLT), Simeon said: Jesus is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!” Isaiah 42:6 says: He will be a light to guide the nations. A light shows us the way to go and also reveals things we need to avoid. We were formerly in the darkness, but now we are Light in the Lord. Therefore, let us lay aside the deeds of darkness, and continually walk in the light of the Lord.

“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. “For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” —Isaiah 60:1-2 (NASB1995)

Be Captivated by Christ
