The Work of His Hand

Yet, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our Potter, and we all are the work of Your hand. —Isaiah 64:8 (AMP)

“What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’ (Isaiah 45:9 NLT) May we resist the devil and humble ourselves before Yahweh, the One who has all of our days written in His book. His plans for us are good. And there is no [human] wisdom or understanding or counsel [that can prevail] against the LORD. (See Proverbs 21:30 AMP)

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.” (Isaiah 57:15 NLT)
