Chosen & Called

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. —Romans 29-30 (NLT)

We have been chosen by Yahweh, and called to come to Him. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; (See 1 Peter 2:9) He chose us to become like His Son, Yeshua. He has risen from death to life. Let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and walk in His light and the more abundant life Yeshua came to give us. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT) Amen.
