Every Good Thing

I said to the LORD, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.” —Psalm 16:2 (NLT)

Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down to us from God our Father. (See James 1:17) He has clothed us with the garments of salvation and covered us with the robe of righteousness. (See Isaiah 61:10 NKJV) He has loved His people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love He has drawn us to Himself. (See Jeremiah 31:3 NLT) He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (See Psalm 103:4 NKJV) God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NLT) Be faithful to Yahweh, until death, and receive an imperishable crown, of never-ending glory and honor. (see 1 Corinthians 9:25 and 1 Peter 5:4)

Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen. —Jude 24-25 (NLT)
