He Still Rules

The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do? But the LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth. —Psalms 11:3-4 (NLT)

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, with its crumbling foundation and chaotic conditions. Instead, build your lives on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 3:11) Regardless of what they do or say, God’s foundation is strong and firmly in place, etched with this seal: “The Lord knows the ones who belong to Him,” and, “Everyone who invokes the name of the Lord ought to stop doing what they know to be wrong.” (2 Timothy 2:19 VOICE) For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the LORD will possess the land. Soon the wicked will disappear. Though you look for them, they will be gone. (Psalm 37:9-10 NLT)

Turn from evil and do good, and you will live in the land forever. For the LORD loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever… (See Psalm 37:27-28 NLT) All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down and worship before You, for the kingship and the kingdom are the LORD’s and He rules over the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28 AMP)
