He Has Overcome

and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.” —Revelation 5:5 (NASB1995)

The Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed! In the midst of tribulation, take courage because Jesus has overcome the world. (See John 16:33 NASB1995) In all situations, we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (See 1 Corinthians 15:57 NASB1995)
