Rejoice!

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24 (NASB1995)

Even though we may be distressed by various trials, we can still rejoice. The Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials. (See 2 Peter 2:7-9NLT) For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV) So don’t focus your attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (See 2 Corinthians 4:18) …and though you have not seen Jesus, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. (See 1 Peter 1:8-9 NASB1995)
