Trust in God

…we were utterly weighed down, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life [itself]. Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the sentence of death [and were convinced that we would die, but this happened] so that we would not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead. —2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (AMP)

When you are burdened beyond your strength to endure, realize that you can no longer rely on yourself and that you must trust solely in God, who possesses the power to raise the dead. (See 2 Corinthians 1:9 VOICE) Our mighty God is faithful to deliver the righteous out of all their troubles. (See Psalm 34:17) Amen.

Be Captivated by Christ
