Know His Name

I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols. —Isaiah 42:8 (HCSB)

May they know that You alone— whose name is Yahweh— are the Most High over all the earth. (Psalm 83:18 HCSB) Your name, O LORD, is everlasting, Your remembrance, O LORD, throughout all generations. (Psalm 135:13 NASB1995) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10 NASB1995)

Let the name of Yahweh be praised both now and forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting, let the name of Yahweh be praised. Yahweh is exalted above all the nations, His glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:2-4 HCSB) Offer to the LORD the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and call upon His name. (See Psalm 116:13) …everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved… (See Joel 2:32 HCSB).

May the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does wonders, be praised. May His glorious name be praised forever; the whole earth is filled with His glory. Amen and amen.. —Psalm 72:18-19 (HCSB)
