Called Out of Darkness

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

God called you out of darkness and defeat. God calls His people out of this dark world and raises us up with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). If you have answered the call of God, you belong to Him. We are to be in this world but not of this world. Instead of being without hope, we can live a successful and abundant life, full of love, peace, joy and freedom. Let us declare the praises of our awesome God for choosing to share His marvelous light with anyone who believes.
