Pray and be On Guard

They all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem and stir up trouble against it. But we prayed to our God and posted a guard day and night to meet this threat.
Nehemiah 4:8 (NIV)

When the enemies of the Israelites heard that the repairs to Jerusalem's walls had proceeded and the gaps were being closed they were very angry. Sometimes, we meet opposition when we go forth with our assignments. When our enemies stir up trouble against us, may we pray to our mighty God and constantly be on guard not to fall into any snares.

Love,
Jackie
