Covenant of Love

"O LORD, God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and obey his commands, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night..."
Nehemiah 1:5-6 (NIV)
 
As followers of Christ, we have a covenant of love, a binding agreement, with the great and awesome God of heaven. It is written in blood, the precious blood of Jesus, the Lamb that was slain. In this covenant, God pledges His undying love to us. He promises that nothing can separate us from His love. He promises that His Presence will always be with us. Even when we are unfaithful, God remains faithful and true to His covenant of love. Praise the LORD!
