Lift Up Your Eyes

I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. —Psalm 27:13-14 (NASB)

If you are in despair, chances are you have been focusing on the problem rather than His Presence, or fretting about your future. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, we know that we are more than conquerors. When we lift up our eyes to the hills— from whence comes our help, we are above the circumstances and not underneath.
Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting—for he will never disappoint you! (Psalm 27:14 TPT)

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah (Psalm 62:8 NKJV)
