Surrender

“And whoever comes to me must follow in my steps and be willing to share my cross and experience it as his own, or he cannot be considered to be my disciple. All who seek to live apart from me will lose it all. But those who let go of their lives for my sake and surrender it all to me will discover true life!” —Matthew 10:38-39 (TPT)

Surrender all and follow Jesus. Then you will discover the true life, a life of freedom and grace. Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10b AMP) Let us look to Jesus. The Message Bible says, “If you don’t go all the way with me, through thick and thin, you don’t deserve me. If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me.” —Matthew 10:38-39 (MSG) Amen.
