Never Lose Faith

And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him. —Hebrews 11:6 (TPT)

In Matthew 3:13-14, when Jesus came to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him, John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But after John was imprisoned, he began to doubt.

John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” (Matthew 11:2-3 (NLT)

Jesus answered them, “Give John this report: ‘The blind see again, the crippled walk, lepers are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised back to life, and the poor and broken now hear of the hope of salvation!’ And tell John that the blessing of heaven comes upon those who never lose their faith in me—no matter what happens!” (Matthew 11:4-6 TPT)

In spite of how circumstances may appear, never lose faith, because we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (Romans 8:28 NLT)
