Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God.” —John 6:67-69 (NLT)

Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Jesus. (John 14:1) In the words of John the Baptist, Jesus must increase, but we must decrease. (See John 3:30) Let us keep Him at the center of our lives, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. —Hebrews 11:6 (NASB)
