Trust God

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.”Jeremiah 17:5 (NLT)

If we put our trust in human strength and the abilities of mere mortals, our hearts turn away from the living God, Elhoim, the all-powerful God. The Message Bible says, a person who depends on mere humans is like a tumbleweed on the prairie... He lives rootless and aimless in a land where nothing grows. (Jeremiah 17:6) “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT)

You are my refuge and my hope in the day of disaster. (See Jeremiah 17:17 AMP) O LORD, you alone can heal me; you alone can save. My praises are for you alone!Jeremiah 17:14 (NLT)
