Press On!

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. —Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT)

Instead of waiting for a future event or regretting past mistakes, focus on today and what the LORD is asking of you today. Today is the day the LORD has made. He is a very present and well-proved help for what you need today. Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.” (Hebrews 3:15 NLT)
