Do Not Doubt

But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that God had the power to do what He had promised. —Romans 4:20-21 (AMP)

We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. (Hebrews 6:12 NIV) Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger. (See Romans 4:20 NLT) May we never doubt God or become spiritually sluggish. Instead, let us be fully convinced that what God has promised, He is also able to perform. Lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power and by patient endurance inherit the promises. (See Hebrews 6:12 AMP) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV) 

Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; —Hebrews 10:23 (AMP)
