God is Love & Light

...anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. —1 John 4:8 (NLT)

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7 NKJV) And if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him. (See 1 Corinthians 8:3 NKJV) …whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. (1 John 2:5 NKJV) For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3 NKJV)

This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. —1 John 1:5 (NLT)

…God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. (See John 3:19 NLT) For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6 NLT) …let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:8 NLT) YAHWEH, our great and awesome God is love and light. May His light and love shine brightly through us, each and every day.
