Love the Father

Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. —1 John 2:15-16 (NLT)

We know [for a fact] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] lies in the power of the evil one [opposing God and His precepts]. (1 John 5:19 AMP)  The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:17 NASB1995) You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 NASB1995) Amen.
