No Good Thing

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. —Psalm 84:11 (NASB1995)

Yahweh is a good God. He pardons all our iniquities, He heals all our diseases; He redeems our lives from the pit. He crowns us with lovingkindness and compassion; He satisfies our years with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle. (See Psalm 103:3-5 NASB1995)

Like the sun, He will light up the darkness around us. And like a shield, He protects us. He withholds no good thing from His people. Remember, what looks like a good thing to you, may not be a good thing for you right now. Our heavenly Father is good and He wants the best for each one of His children. Be still before the LORD; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him… (See Psalm 37:7 AMP)
