What is In Your Heart?

And He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.’ Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men.” —Mark 7:6-8 (NASB1995)

Don't just go through the motions of serving Yahweh, truly seek to know Him, and serve Him wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. May we follow His Word and not the tradition of men. Call upon Him and come and pray to Him, and He will listen to you. Seek Him and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:12-13)
