By His Spirit

Then he said to me, “This is what the LORD says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.” —Zechariah 4:6 (NLT)

Do not fear or be dismayed, for the LORD our God is with us to help us. The battle belongs to God. He is the King of glory, strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. (See Psalm 24:8)  And victory belongs to the LORD. Amen.

Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in and relies on mankind, making [weak, faulty human] flesh his strength, and whose mind and heart turn away from the LORD.” —Jeremiah 17:5 (AMP)
