Don't Drift
So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. —Hebrews 6:18 (TLV)
We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain. Yeshua has entered there as a forerunner on our behalf… (See Hebrews 19-20 TLV). When we take hold of the hope we have in Yeshua, it serves as an anchor, to keep us from drifting away from Yahweh. In stormy times, our hope is an anchor of the soul that will keep us closely connected to Him. It cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it. (See Hebrews 6:19 AMP) So, fix your [confident] hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe [in Him, recognize Him as the Son of God, and accept Him as Savior and Lord]. (See 1 Timothy 4:10 AMP) He is our ONLY hope.
Now, little children (believers, dear ones), remain in Him [with unwavering faith], so that when He appears [at His return], we may have [perfect] confidence and not be ashamed and shrink away from Him at His coming. —1 John 2:28 (AMP)
