Know & Believe

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. —1 John 4:16 (NASB1995)

May we know and believe in the unfailing love Yahweh continually lavishes upon us. First Corinthians 8:3 (AMP) says: …if anyone loves God [with awe-filled reverence, obedience and gratitude], he is known by Him [as His very own and is greatly loved]. Let His love seep into every pore and fiber of your being. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 TLV) This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. (1 John 4:10 NLT)

As Yahweh pours His love into us, may we share it with everyone He brings our way. Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:7-8 NLT)

Don't Drift

So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. — Hebrews 6:18 (TLV) We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain. Yeshua has entered there as a forerunner on our behalf… (See Hebrews 19-20 TLV). When we take hold of the hope we have in Yeshua, it serves as an anchor, to keep us from drifting away from Yahweh. In stormy times, our hope is an anchor of the soul that will keep us closely connected to Him. It cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it.
