He Cares

And there arose a fierce gale of wind, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling up. Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” —Mark 4:37-38 (NASB1995)

The disciples encountered a storm and questioned whether or not Jesus cared about their situation. No matter how intense the storms of life, may we never doubt that Jesus cares about us. Cast all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” (See 1 Peter 5:7 AMP) The LORD is concerned about everything that concerns you. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) says: “The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Jesus said: “...the very hairs on your head are all numbered.” (See Matthew 10:30 NLT) 

In Mark 4:39 (NASB1995), Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. In the midst of trouble, let your faith in Yeshua be strengthened. And remember to keep your eyes fixed on Him and not the circumstances.

Be Captivated by Christ
