Recognize

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.” —Daniel 4:37 (NASB1995)

When the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar’s heart was lifted up and his spirit became so proud that he behaved arrogantly, he was deposed from his royal throne and his glory was taken away from him, until he recognized that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.  (See Daniel 5:20 & 4:25 NASB1995) God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, (See 1 Peter 5:5-6 NASB1995).

Let us bless the Most High and praise and honor Him who lives forever; for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation. (See Daniel 4:34 NASB1995) Elohim is the God Most High, and there is no other. Worship Him. Recognize that He is Adonai, owner of your life. He is Elohim, our Creator and Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens]… (See James 1:17 AMP)
