The Light of Life

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” —John 8:12 (NASB1995)

God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. (See 1 John 1:5) …you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), (Ephesians 5:8-9 NASB1995). You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14 NLT) Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 NASB1995)

As followers of Christ, let us do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, (See Philippians 2:14-15 NASB1995).

Be Captivated by Christ

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter.
