Our Dwelling Place

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:1-2 (NASB)

God made the world and all things in it. He gives life and breath to all people. (See Acts 17:24-25) He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being… (Acts 17:27-28 CSB) God’s a safe-house for the battered, a sanctuary during bad times. (Psalm 9:9 MSG) He is a refuge in times of trouble, and a shelter from the storms. Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 AMP)

Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; Psalm 91:9-10 (NKJV)
