Know & Understand

This is what the LORD says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth,
 and that I delight in these things. I, the LORD, have spoken!” —Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NLT)

First Chronicles 22:19 (NKJV) says: “Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God.” Don’t turn your heart away from the LORD our God, to seek the things of this world. They may satisfy for a season, but they are temporary and superficial. Let your heart take delight in the ways of Yahweh. In the Presence of the LORD, is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. He will make known to you the path of life. (See Psalm 16:11) The Word says: NOW set your heart... This indicates a sense of urgency. You do not know what will happen tomorrow. (See James 4:14 NKJV) Today is the day, now is the time.

Instead of being so concerned about gaining likes and followers on social media, seek to truly know Yahweh, His will for your life and His ways. Humble yourself before our Mighty God, and intentionally, set your heart to know Him, and understand all that He has done to demonstrate His unfailing love to us.

Be Captivated by Christ
