Yet I will Rejoice!

“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!” —Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT)

When our resources are limited, or all together lacking, we are presented with an opportunity to humble ourselves and thank Yahweh for being our true source. James 1:2 (NLT) says: Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. We can rejoice knowing that our Heavenly Father is good. He has an unlimited supply and He is faithful to provide all that we need. Let us be joyful in the God of our salvation, at all times! Amen.

Be Captivated by Christ
