Seek the Word

“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it. —Amos 8:11-12 (NKJV)

Instead of a constant stream of the negative news, let us diligently seek the Word of the LORD. May we treasure it in our hearts, that we may not sin against Yahweh. (See Psalm 119:11) The word of the LORD is very pure and proven. (See Psalm 119:140, 18:30). Forever, His Word is settled in heaven. (See Psalm 119:89) His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. (Psalm 119:105) It will show us the way we are to go. His Word is truth (Psalm 119:142) and when you know the truth, the truth shall make you free. (See John 8:32) Amen.

Be Captivated by Christ
