The God Who Sees

Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?”Genesis 16:13 (NLT)

Never think that God has forgotten about you. When Sarai treated Hagar harshly, she fled from her presence into the wilderness and God met her there. (See Genesis 16:6) Whatever you’re going through today, He sees you. He knows your struggle and your pain. And He is your help, your comfort and your strength. Look to Him and He will show you the way.

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33:18-19 (NASB1995)
