The Rock of Refuge

But Yahweh has been my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. —Psalms 94:22 (LSB)

Our Heavenly Father is a refuge from the storm and a strong fortress. …the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him. (Psalms 37:39-30 NASB1995) Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalms 62:8 AMP) How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! (See Psalms 2:12)

So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. — Hebrews 6:18 (TLV) We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain.
