Called Out

But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. —1 Peter 2:9 (TPT)

Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light! And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you—goodness, righteousness, and truth. (Ephesians 5:8-9 TPT) For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 1:9 NLT)

We have been called out of darkness into a Kingdom of light, destiny, and purpose. The Kingdom of God is about living a life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) Let us proclaim the goodness of our great God wherever we go.
