Faithfulness to God

“They will wage war against the Lamb (Christ), and the Lamb will triumph and conquer them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him and on His side are the called and chosen (elect) and faithful.” —Revelation 17:14 (AMP)

We are all faithful to something or someone. Some are devoted to self (their talents and abilities or their physical appearance). Others are devoted to their favorite sports team, a famous personality, or social media. Some set their affections on material goods. But the called and the chosen remain faithful to Elohim, the One true and living God. Creator of the universe and our Maker. As citizens of the Kingdom of God, let us stay faithful to the Lord of lords and the King of kings, keeping Him at the center of all we do. Troubles multiply for those who chase after other gods… (Psalm 16:4a NLT)  Our victory is in Christ.

“Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.” —Habakkuk 2:4 (NLT)
