It's Your Choice

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life…” —Deuteronomy 30:19-20a (NLT)

Every day we have a choice to make, and our choices have consequences. Our heavenly Father gives each one of us the freewill to choose between life and death and blessings and curses. Then He pleads with us to choose life for our own sakes as well as our descendants. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world… (Romans 12:2a NT) Instead, make a firm commitment to follow Yahweh.

“Tell all the people, ‘This is what the LORD says: Take your choice of life or death! —Jeremiah 21:8 (NLT)
